Hi, all. Here are the minutes of the Kitchen meeting held last week. Small turn out, but strong progress.

Present: Rhonda , SRP-Kitchen, Kevin McGlynn, Doug Elvis Williams, Erica Ianotti (first 15 min)
A. Realizing potential for, and volunteer interest in working on:
RR will prepare an inclusive report to the Executive Committee
1. Member happiness kitchen use
RR create and send a Kitchen survey to find member priorities for how kitchen improves their time here. Add in a Q re: willingness to volunteer on a, say, 3 month rota
Events -- use for outside catering
Catering “sets” of equipment and dinner ware?? What and how to store?
RR will check with Exec committee and research – what health regulations are we subject to as a kitchen used for events.
RR will ask Sue D. to opine on kitchen set-up for caterers, too. Others?
KM will check with his former employer regarding the same
Internal COG catering enterprise?
Future possibility. Learn regulatory info first; then explore for will and capability.
Cooking classes and workshops?
Interest already established to start scheduling classes.
RR will write out the Student Kit -- Cooking and other basic course needs
?? inform K committee on Baking Student Kit and other basic course needs
DEW will explore used restaurant equipment (personal contact) and possible donation option – by aligning the lists with the potential donor’s available resources.
If appropriate, RR will approach the exec committee about inviting a kitchen or course sponsorship from a major food vending family
DEW – Schedule first cooking course
Blaise – schedule/announce brewing classes; prep outer closet for storage/brewing
- ThinQubator, "STEAMing up the Kitchen" events/classes?
EI – to schedule and organize these events.

RR – contact chef/consultant to schedule next K meeting

RR include questions in the membership happiness survey
