I am also in favor of two fridges.
The fancy kitchen fridge can be used for specific pre-approved events, but there are sanitation rules that must be followed (and I must defer to Sue et. al. to tell us what those are). It should have a freezer. Even if you don't store much in the freezer, you still need ice, and there are certain things where short-term use of a freezer is needed. (slicing/grinding meats comes to mind).
Our own fridge... well we need to enforce rules on the crap we all leave in there. I'd almost want to get a commercial cooler with a glass front, but they aren't cheap. Also, again, Ice Is Nice and you need a freezer for that.
Where would the 2nd fridge/kitchenette go?
